Guests can show up at any time for your wedding especially if you are hosting some of them at your home. Therefore, I want you to be prepared. It is not always easy to have family, in-laws or friends at your home for a while. That means you are going to need a list of items to make sure you have in your guest room. Give your guests that ultimate hotel feeling with a hint of home love. Yes, I am talking about a great list of things you are going to need to make this stay the best.
Welcome Basket
A small welcome basket full of everything you need. Tokens of appreciation with a letter all the way down to the snacks. The snack part is really nice because I have known guests to shy to ask for something. This way it’s for them and they don’t have to feel bad for asking.
Welcome Letter
I personally love the touch of a handwritten note. It shows that you have taken the time to write then a quick hello. Tell them that you are excited they are here and look forward to spending time together. You would be surprised at the amount of appreciation they will give for something as simple as a letter.
Toiletries
Make sure your guests don’t need to go out and buy anything. It happens often then we want to admit but yes we have all forgotten something. Provide them with the necessaries of tissues, feminine products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps and creams. A small first aid kit is also a nice touch.
Wi-Fi Password
The number one questions guests want to know is “What is your Wifi password?“. Yes, we all wonder that especially since we are so into your cellphones more than ever. It’s always good to include the Wi-Fi password and network name in a welcome letter or simply in a frame so that they don’t have to ask you a couple of times.
A Gift.
As much as you are going to be showering them with food and favours. It is always nice, if possible to leave a welcome gift. It could be as simple as a welcome letter or a bag with your face on it or a bottle of wine with some chocolates. These little treats make anyone feel good. If you don’t know the person so well try to stay away from any common allergy snacks. Give a variety of items.
