If you are looking for a wedding ceremony music performer idea to WOW your guests, then you arrived at the right article. I am talking about music entertainment for your wedding but instead of traditional reception entertainers, this is more targeted for your ceremony.
Now I understand that the ceremonies are normally the classic, important part of your wedding but I am here to tell you that you don’t have to simply pop in a CD to play your ceremony music. If you have the money and want to add some wow to your ceremony, then by all means go for it. I took the liberty to do some research for you.
1. Bag Pipers
If you have a little Scottish or Irish in your jeans or even in your family tree, then it is only fair (or highly suggested by the family) that you have pipers at your wedding. Bring in the pipes!
2. Bells
I have seen weddings where there are large church bells playing when the couple kisses and then they walk back down the aisle as a couple. This is a smaller version of having great big bells and if you know about big bells then you know that you cannot bring them to any ceremony locations.
3. Choir
Sing it loud and sing it proud! In this case, you may not want to clap or sing too loud. You may prefer the soft singing of a choir to “here comes the bride” or even the oohs of their soothing voices. Allow a choir to give goosebumps to your wedding guests.
4. Guitarists
Who doesn’t like the warm sounds of fingertips strumming the strings of a guitar? I know I do. Don’t go thinking that it is only for one type of wedding. It doesn’t have to be just for country theme weddings…not all guitarists wear cowboy boots and hats. They do wear suits sometimes.
5. Harp
If you are going for a more, classy type of wedding you may want the sounds of the harp. Bring a little elegant vibe to your beautiful wedding and wow your wedding guests with this surprising instrument.
6. Steel Pan or Drums
This is great if you are going for a more island rhythm style. It is unique and stands out from the crowd. Just hearing it makes you imagine you that your sipping drinks by the sandy beach.
7. String Quartets
String away! The beautiful view of four string instruments coming together and creating music. Black tie event? Long flowy dresses, and black dinner jackets? I say yes, please!
8. Pianist
Lastly, I personally love when someone plays the piano, it just gives off such a beautiful sound. It would also be a great addition to your wedding ceremony to have a pianist playing your song as you walk down the aisle. How is that for some ceremony music!
Final Thoughts
It is nice to have something either meaningful, traditional or overall unique to bring to your wedding ceremony. Whether you decide on using one of these wedding ceremony music performers to wow your guests or not. Your ceremony is going to be just as special. What do you think?
