Now is the time to think about the many tropical wedding destinations out there. I was inspired to write this Travel Edition: Top Five Tropical Wedding Destinations because of my trip to the commonwealth of Dominica many years ago. Those were the days when I laid by the beach, sinking my feet in the sand with no worries. Today I thought I would give this article a little refresh.
I already told you before about 4 Stunning over-the-water Bungalows Perfect for your Honeymoon. Those honeymoon destinations are places that I personally wish I could go to whenever I ever get an engagement ring. (psst… I am engaged!) Now, I thought I would share the top five tropical wedding destinations most couples walk down the aisle for.
Psst… don’t forget to get yourself a honeymoon packing list for a helping hand!
5. Jamaica
Welcome to Jamaica! Dine at Rick’s Cafe or Scotchie’s or Climb 600 feet the most popular waterfall at Dunns River Falls. Who said you need snow for bobsledding? Mystic Mountain one man bobsled gives you the experience like the Cool Runnings movie except you are not in the cold. Dance all night to the beats and rhythm of the island music, and of course, relax in the sun on the beach. Then swim in the crystal blue water.
4. The Bahamas
This is defiantly on my list of where I want to go. Especially at the Atlantis Hotel. There is everything from shopping, water slides, concerts, pools, beaches to hanging out with dolphins and stingrays. This place sounds like the best place to vacation so why not get married there too. I know your guests will love you for it. While you are thinking about it, might as well book it for your honeymoon destination as well.
3. Cancun
I hear about this one a lot. Relax at Playa Delfines Beach. Visit the Captain Hook Pirata Pirate Ship, Exotic Rides Mexico, Ultramar, CrossFit Revolver, and Dolphinaris and Interactive Aquarium. Shop, Dine and have a relaxing time in Cancun. There is so much you can do that will make it worth your wild to have it as a wedding destination. I know that dolphin place would be first on my list!
2. St. Martin – St. Maarten
St. Martin has many things to do like the beaches like Orient Bay and Friar Bay. Also, check out their Loterie Farm and Pic du Paradis. Captain Rick Moore on YouTube shares a great video about his visit to Pic du Paradis, check it out here.
St. Maarten has beaches as well like Cupecoy Beach, Mullet Bay Beach, Dawn Beach, and Maho Beach. Take a moment to shop on Front Street while you are there.
1. Aruba
You do not have to worry about any hurricane coming your way on your big day because Aruba is located outside of the hurricane belt so expect sunshine, sunshine and more sunshine.
Aruba has beautiful beaches like Eagle Beach, Palm Beach, Baby Beach, and Hadicurari Beach. They have a donkey sanctuary, Arikok National Park, Ostrich Farm, Ayo and Casibari Rock Formation, Pedernales Wreck, and more.
