Today I want to talk about Smile Brilliant. One thing that I have had on my list for every new year other than aiming to achieve rock awesome abs is having white teeth. I remember asking my dentist not that long ago about there teeth whitening service and my teeth pretty much fell out by the cost of it. I wasn’t going to sell an arm in order to whiten my teeth.
So, I did what everyone else in my situation would do. Search endlessly on Pinterest for DIY solutions to whitening teeth. Finding something else that I could do that doesn’t break the bank. I have used whitening toothpaste and whitening strips before but they always irritated my teeth so I had to stop using it. I felt like I was running out of options until I tried Smile Brilliant.
What’s in the box?
In the box, there are both desensitizing and teeth whitening packs, along with instruction cards.
Also, there is a three-base and three catalyst containers to create your teeth mold and the trays to make it with.
Desensitizing Gel vs Teeth Whitening Gel
The
desensitizing gel helps those who have sensitive teeth. I mentioned before that my teeth couldn’t handle the other whitening strips because I have certain teeth that would get irritated. When I started using this gel it felt like it gave my teeth a coat and extra strength for when I started my teeth whitening process. There are many reasons to why your teeth may be sensitive to hot or cold such as your diet or simply the state your teeth are in like cracks. By using this gel on your teeth, you will be able to handle the teeth whitening process much easier.
Why does this
teeth whitening gel work? Unlike the strips, this one sits nicely on your teeth without the annoyance of the strips moving around. Also, most only work on the front of your teeth and not the front and back. This one is inside of a customized mold of your teeth. Other products don’t stay on your teeth as long or are created for everyone instead of just for yourself. Using this system your teeth gets done the right way.
How to Build a Customize Mold?
I have to say that at first, I was a little nervous about this part. I wanted to make sure that I did this right and didn’t have to do this over and over again. Thankfully, if you do make a mistake then you have one extra one. I did mine right on the first try.
Step 1:
Get all the three items: the tray, base paste, and catalyst paste.
Step 2:
Open both containers and mix them together until you no longer see the white catalyst paste. Once done, put the paste on the tray. You want to have your teeth emerged into the putty equally and without any noticeable movements.
Step 3:
Once you have done both your top and bottom teeth, it is time to ship it away. They give you a cool prepaid envelope to ship right to them.
Step 4:
Once you ship it away. It is all in Smile Brilliant to make your teeth trays!
Custom Trays
When the mailman, drops the trays off, it was very exciting. I was so eager to try it that I started that very night. I couldn’t wait to see what they looked like and just to start the process in general. It comes in a cute tray case to keep safe and perfect for storing the trays.

All I had to do now was add a thin layer of the whitening solution from the syringe to the front of the tray and leave it in for at least 40 minutes. The best time is a few minutes before bedtime.
My Before/After Photos
I have to say I was a little worried at first because like I said before I have tried so many things but even after one use, I could see a huge difference. I don’t drink coffee or drink wine or smoke so my results can be different than yours. My stains on my teeth are from occasional sodas and foods that stain. With all that it was no match for this whitening system! It took those stains away faster than anything I have used before! Amazing!
