Once your list is ready, use a grocery delivery service or curbside pickup to avoid those chaotic in-store trips. We use Walmart, Instacart and Voila grocery delivery in our home. I can’t tell you the last time I stepped foot in a grocery store thanks to delivery! This simple switch will save you hours each week, and you’ll never have to worry about forgetting something again.

Running out of everyday essentials like toilet paper, detergent, or diapers is frustrating—especially when you realize it mid-task. Instead of making a mental note to restock (and inevitably forgetting), simplify your daily routine by setting up a subscription service for these items. Amazon, Walmart, and other major retailers offer subscription options where you can have household essentials delivered on a schedule that works for you.
3. Batch Your Errands
One of the best ways to cut down on errands is to batch them together. Instead of running out to do one task today and another tomorrow, group them into one day. For example, if you need to pick up dry cleaning, return a package, and grab something from the pharmacy, plan to do them all in one trip.
It may take some planning, but batching errands will save you a ton of time and gas in the long run. To make this work, look at your week ahead and see where you can combine trips. You can even assign a specific day to run errands so you can focus on other tasks the rest of the week.

If laundry is a big pain point for you like myself, consider outsourcing it or delegating it to someone else in the house. My husband and son tackle the laundry while I am on folding duty. Delegating tasks can be so helpful.

Keeping track of everyone’s schedule can be a full-time job in itself. Between school, work, extracurriculars, and appointments, it’s easy to forget. Simplify your life by using a family calendar that everyone can access.

I personally love Google Calendar because it syncs across all devices, and I can colour-code events for each family member. This way, I can see at a glance who has what going on each day. No more “Mom, you didn’t tell me” moments!

It’s no secret that clutter can make daily tasks feel harder than they need to be. When your space is cluttered, finding what you need takes longer, and you spend more time cleaning and tidying. That’s why it’s essential to declutter regularly.
Take a few minutes each day to tidy up or tackle small decluttering projects. It could be as simple as clearing off the kitchen counter or organizing a junk drawer. By consistently staying on top of clutter, you’ll prevent the buildup of stuff that leads to overwhelm. I know finding time to declutter can be tough, but start small. Pick one area to focus on each week, and before you know it, your entire home will feel more manageable. Oh and have a designated donation bin in a central spot in your home and one in your closet for easier ways to toss things in.
