Kids Schedule

Kids schedule! Who is in need of one. I won’t lie, just like you, I am hitting the snooze button. There is good news though, to us spending a little time together. Getting your kids on a schedule is no easy process but then it is accomplished then it feels so good. Kid schedules dims the constant questions of “Can I play video games?“, “Can I watch TV?“, “When can I have a snack?“, “Is it time for me to play on the computer yet?” and kid’s famous line “When is dinner? I’m sooo hungry”.

There are many useful reasons for having and designing a kids schedule. I find it to be very helpful when you are trying to get dinner ready or other things you got scheduled to do for yourself, maybe even sneaking some talk shows time on television. This helps keep kids knowing what they are supposed to be doing and it will help them in the future as well.

There are many ways you can make up a schedule for them. This one is one I have worked on this weekend for my siblings. It’s short and sweet.

Here is how I created this kids schedule!

I used Microsoft Word, inserted a table and images from Clip Art. I chose to change the picture colors.

 Print it out.

You can laminate it. I don’t personally own a laminator so if you are like me you can use this Reusable Self-Adhesive Laminating Sheets by Studio. It comes with three sheets and only costs $2.00 at Dollarama. However, don’t let the reusable fool you because I tried it and it is not reusable.
Follow the instructions that they provide for you.
Place the schedule facing downwards (on the non-sticky side) and smooth the sticky side over.
There you have it! Now all you have to do is figure out where you should hang these kids schedule up. I have also created a summer version of this kids schedule as well because even in summer kids need routine. No lazy butts! Although summer is known for it. If creating kids schedule not really what you are after at the moment then check out this awesome magnetic kids schedule too that you can buy! Hope this inspired you to make one for your kids. Enjoy!
