Today we are talking about three ways to make your wedding bouquet stand out. You found the stand out wedding dress of your dreams so you are going to need the next accessory and that is your wedding bouquet. It is flowers that you are going to be walking down the aisle with and the first thing your guests will see when you make your step out. Apart from you and your dress, of course. So, you are going to want to make the best choice when it comes to your wedding bouquet. So let dig in!
#1- Colour
Nothing says look at me other than colour. It doesn’t need to be over the top to stand out. It simply needs the colour of some sort. Yellow really makes an entrance and so does sunflowers. For more inspiration on ways, you can use sunflowers in your wedding bouquet, check out the post from FTD. I personally love succulents and tropical bouquet because of all the colours. It stands out without taking all the spotlight.
If you are looking to have an all-white cast of flowers than you can add a pop of colour at the handle or with the greenery or even on a coloured flower in the middle. It can act as your Something blue if you want it to.
#2- Something Special
My favourite wedding bouquet is the one that brides add in a something special. What do I mean by that? Well, I am referring to making the bouquet there own by adding a little treasure. That all amazing personal touch. This can be a small picture of a loved one or a necklace of a loved one.
There have been some wedding bouquets with a broach within the flowers. Maybe even a secret note was hidden in the handle. One common thing you could do is have a piece of your mother’s dress as your bouquet holder.
#3- Go Big
Lately, we have seen many brides walk down the aisle with big wedding bouquets. That means more of the flowers and more of the greenery. It looks gorgeous coming down the aisle. Your guest is not going to expect it. However, if this is not you, you can go big without going too big. Consider having five extra flowers to give it that big feeling.
Final Thoughts
[…] No longer do you need to pick just one colour or style for your wedding. I think having your flowers in an ombre style makes you stand out. Not many brides were doing this and went simple and classic when it comes to colours. You don’t have to be afraid of having colour anymore, embrace it!
