It’s been a while since I have done an Ikea hack and this one is very easy. Today, I’m sharing my FEJKA artificial potted plants IKEA hack. This is perfect if you struggle with keeping real plants alive but want a luxurious greenery look.

Why Choose FEJKA Artificial Potted Plants?

Let’s be real, not all of us have green thumbs and can maybe keep one real plant alive (you are not alone, I am a work in progress with plants). This is where FEJKA artificial potted plants are such a great choice because they look like real greenery without the maintenance of a real plant. They are also budget-friendly compared to other sites and stores I looked at. Also, they look great on my balcony.

Step 1: Unbox Ikea FEJKA Plants

Once you have brought your FEJKA artificial potted plants home, it is time to start unboxing. You should bring a box cutter or a pair of scissors to assist you with the next step.

The leaves are held by zip-ties therefore you will need to cut them off to get started.

Step 2: Put the FEJKA Plants Together

Just like many of the Ikea products, you need to put the plant together. It may feel like a strange task however it is very easy to put together. There are a few spots that are just the stem of the plant and all you need to do is slide the leaves into these sections.

Make sure that you are aligning the stem properly. The flatter section of the stem should match!

Then continue to repeat the process until all the leaves are done. After that, you can play around with the leaves and bend them into different positions to give the plant more of a realistic design.

Step 3: Add Rocks

One of the best things about FEJKA artificial potted plants is their versatility. Now the exposed soil look was not what I was going for so I did one thing to make it look luxurious… I added rocks.
At my local Dollarama store, they carry white rocks that I love so I bought two jars since they were pretty large. Then all I did was pour the jar of rocks on the top of the potted plants.

If you are worried the rocks will fall out, you can also pour a clear sealant onto it so it doesn’t move. I chose to keep it simple for now but will invest in a sealant later if necessary.
