How to Organize Your Home Yourself with Expert Help using Inspired by Organizing? That is what we are going to talk about today. Sometimes organizing yourself can be extremely difficult because of all the things you need to do, and it can be hard to see past the clutter.

Plus, hiring a professional organizer can cost too much depending on how big the project is. So, what is the middle ground between the two? This is where my custom professional organizing business Inspired by Organizing comes in.

What is Inspired by Organizing?

Inspired by Organizing is not your average professional organizing service. This is where I help women who desperately want to organize their homes themselves.

I am levelling up the way you think professional organizing looks like by creating something more custom for DIY organizers out there. This is for all of you who have been inspired to organize your home, who has flipped through all the best selling organizing books and binge-watched all the organizing episodes on TV and are ready to take action in your home!

What is included?

Since Inspired by Organizing is a virtual organizing service, you receive tools to elevate your home so that you can walk into your space stress-free:

  • a visual organized layout design of your space,
  • personalized shopping list
  • and a client portal with two exclusive lessons.

How Does Inspired by Organizing Work?

One thing about me is that I have a pretty cool superpower where I can organize a space without physically going into a home, and with only using photos and measurements from you.

Therefore, it makes this style of service extremely easy for you to use. I spend hours designing, virtually organizing & endlessly searching for each product for your space, because you deserve it, and so that you do not have to. Here is what you need to do:

1. FILL OUT A FORM

Since I don’t need to physically be in your home, I will need you to fill out a form, so I can get some details about your home. In this form, you will provide me with a photo or video of your space, measurements, and as much information about your space so I can design with your goals in mind.

2. ACCESS TO EXCLUSIVE TRAINING VIDEOS –

Once you have filled out the form, you get access to a client portal where you get exclusive training video lessons on how to declutter and organize your home. Download content and action plans filled with step-by-step advice and tips to help motivate you to keep going.

3. RECIEVE YOUR DESIGN

Once your custom design is finished, you will receive your design via email. It is perfect if you want to keep it digitally or print it out at home. Then, you use the design as guidance to organize your home.

It is equipped with a Personalized Shopping List that has add-to-cart-ready items matching your personal home style! All you have to do is decide whether to buy the items from your shopping list or score deals at other stores in your city.

4. FOLLOW THE ACTION PLAN

Use the action plan to see beyond your clutter and get inspired to bring the design to life. I may have the design eye and action plan to help you with that through this new way of virtual organizing, but you are really doing the hard work! The best part is that you can decide to use the design as is or make the design your own by using it as a template to spark creativity for your space.

Are you inspired by organizing yet? If you are still on the fence, here is some information about virtual organizing and how it can benefit you.

What is a Virtual Professional Organizer Anyways?

Simply put, a virtual professional organizer helps organize your home without physically going into your home. This can be through video conference, video call, or email conversation. The main point is that they help you without any judgement to arrange a system that works for you. This means they will provide you with tips to help you declutter items that you do not need and make your space more functional.

How Much Does It Cost to Get a Professional Organizer?

An average virtual organizer can cost between $240.00 – $648.00 and up depending on the company you choose, and it usually is based on hours they are spending with you via video call or conference.

As for a professional organizer that comes into your home, they can charge an hourly rate range of $30 to $300 per hour. Depending on the project size, the company you decide to go with and level of expertise, it can easily get to a price range of $1,500 to $5,000.

Currently, Inspired by Organizing only costs $150.00, but that price is not going to last for long!

Do It Yourself Organizing vs Professional Organizer

There are pros to getting yourself a professional organizer and that is they do the work for you by means of figuring out what to do with your space, finding items to resolve your clutter problem so you can live in a stress-free home. You are there to assist in sorting through your belongings to see if you want to donate or throw something away.

However, if you choose to do it yourself organizing without expert help, you can find yourself feeling stuck on what to do, lose your motivation when starting your project and feel overwhelmed by the process.

This allows you to lean more into reading organizing books, watching tv shows or simply the following advice from the internet which is designed for any person’s home and not specific to your home.

Do you feel like…

  • It is impossible to be organized.
  • Ashamed because your home does not look Instagram-worthy.
  • Embarrassed to have guests over because you are worried about what they will think.
  • You have tried organizing before and it didn’t work for you.

I am here to tell you that it is not impossible. You can do it, all you need is some guidance to have the confidence and an easy-to-use gameplan to clear the clutter in your home. Which will leave you no longer feeling ashamed to share your space on Instagram or embarrassed to have your friends or family over to your home because you are using an organizing system that is actually going to work for you!

I know that you would rather:
  • Know where your items are actually located!
  • Have extra “ME” time spent doing things you want to do!
  • Feel LESS stressed and overwhelmed!
  • Save your money and time!
  • Walk into your space feeling confident and relaxed

This is why I created Inspired by Organizing because you shouldn’t have to spend thousands to work with a professional organizer and you shouldn’t have to spend hours scrolling, reading or watching tv to find solutions based on other people’s homes. 5 Tips on How to Organize Your Home Yourself

If you feel Inspired by Organizing is not for you, I completely understand, here are 5 Tips on How to Organize Your Home Yourself right now.

  1. Choose one room/space – Keep your plan of action simple by choosing one room or space at a time. Think about tackling your dresser drawer or a junk drawer per day or an entire room on a weekend.
  2. Tackle Easy Items First –  Focus on the quick no and yes items as you declutter so you can get those items out of the way. Then work on the items you have the most trouble deciding on. Then clap it up for yourself because you made progress.
  3. Savvy Solutions –  When creating an organized system for yourself and your family, you will want to make sure that you are matching your family’s needs and lifestyle. Look at your daily routine and adjust your belongings to match it, such as having frequently used items front and centre for easy access.
  4. Put Items Back to Where they belong each day – Make a conscious effort to go around your space and remove items that don’t belong then relocate them to where it’s supposed to be. Also, toss items that are trash/garbage or recycling.
  5. Decluttering Regularly – Find time each week to declutter by creating a dedicated donation zone in your home to put items like clothing or toys you no longer want into the bag, or a stylish laundry bin.
