It is that time of the year when I make my siblings and son’s class a special treat. This one is actually for my littlest sister. She loves Shopkins. I can’t blame her because they are super cute food or items with eyes. Anything with cute big eyes would be a popular item. So since this is a trend amount the young ones, I figured it would make the perfect treat for this year’s last day of school treat. Great for kicking off the summer!

Last year I had four different classrooms to make these for. It was a fun challenge to have to make Paw Patrol, Pokemon, Emoji and flower lollipops. This year since my other two siblings are not teenagers, they don’t want to share lollipops so I am sticking to the young ones.

How to Make Shopkins Lollipops?

Step 1: Search Photos

How did I find all these cute Shopkins images? All you really need is Google, have your young one pick out their favorite photos or characters. They are going to have a blast having to chose one but it may take a while since they are all incredibly cute. Then use Microsoft Word to organize it on a document.

Step 2: Buy Sticker Paper

Last years, I used Cricut sticker paper from Michaels Craft Store to print this on, however, this year I am using Avery sticker paper from Staples. Both are the same concept. One is just more pricer than the other. Avery is definitely cheaper than Cricut and you get more sheets.

Step 3: Print on Sticker Paper

Once you have found your images and place it on a Microsoft document. Insert your sticker paper into your printer. The back of the paper with words should be facing you so that it prints directly on the correct side of the sticker paper.

Step 4: Cut Each Character Out

Next, I had to use scissors to cut them out individually because I don’t own a cutting machine.

Step 5: Stick the Characters on Lollipop Wrappers

Peel the back and stick it on the lollipop packaging. By doing this it saves you from having to use glue or tape. Believe me, doing those take so much of your time. When you have 20-30 kids in a classroom, you will want a simpler way to get this project done.

Step 6: Repeat

Keep repeating the process until you have enough for your child’s classroom. Then stick all of them in a nice gift bag or decorative paper bag and place it into your child’s backpack on the last day of school.

Even though I can’t see all those happy smiling faces, it’s my family’s happy face to show kindness and share a treat is what makes my day. Hearing all the stories about how much their friends enjoyed it is so heartwarming. This is also great for theme parties!
