Find the Positive
Reflect on the positivity and take stock out it. Build a case for yourself that you indeed achieve things in your life. You weren’t just sitting down collecting dust. You are living life. It may not be what you are imagining but it is something. Hold on it and the moment. This will not only build your confidence but push you into wanting to do more for yourself and then actually doing it. Finding positives in yourself may be a challenge but take a moment, sit back and write it down. On your bad days, you can look back and say “I am actually pretty awesome!“.
Explore & Challenge
I am all about that dream chaser. So go out there and explore your city, explore yourself because life is all about finding yourself and learning more. We never stop learning even when we are out of high school and college. We got from school to school so take that moment to get know yourself explore the things your love and learn the things you don’t love because we change as we grow up. We change our tv shows, favourite colour, friends, food choices and definitely our celebrity crushes so get to know that. Challenge yourself to try something new or to try something you have always wanted.
Set Goals & Gain Motivation
Along with dreams are goals. I am all about achievable goals these days. It removes the pressure of the New Year Resolution and allows you to feel good about what you actually achieved this year. Don’t you feel good doing something small or big for yourself without having it weigh you down on the fact that you didn’t achieve it this year? Of course! It is all about the baby steps.
Talk About It
Talking about your struggles and what you are going through will help you in a big way. I learned that the hard way before and it only left me in a dark cloud. Talking about it releases the load and pressure that it has on you from your mind and thoughts and lets it free. Having the right friends or even family to talk to can gain you the support that you need to get where you are going. These are all feelings everyone has gone through in their lives so the advice and encouragement from others will be the refreshment you need.
Final Thoughts
You can live through your quarter life crisis! It is all about looking for positive things in yourself, exploring and challenging yourself with new things. Enjoy the time you are getting to know yourself. There are going to be jobs you do not like or relationships that have dead-end streets. These are your pages to your life so write it in, live through it and make it your best. Your life is not going to be perfect, that is impossible so stop stressing over it. Age is nothing but a number, you got this!
