Is this you? Do you have a wallet stuffed with banks cards, rewards cards and who knows what? I used to but not anymore and I haven’t done so in years. I decluttered my wallet so much that I only carry a small change purse wallet that holds only my most important can’t live without cards. I honestly only carry about six cards in total and that is including cards I need to hold for my son but I know a lot of people with massive wallets and a million cards.
Declutter Reward Cards
In my article: Easy App to Declutter Your Wallet!, I share the best way to declutter your rewards cards and that is an app. We all carry out phones all the time so why not make it even more useful with an app that will hold all your rewards cards for you. Yes! Your physical reward cards can have several seats at home because you don’t need it in your wallet anymore.
How many reward cards do you have? Be honest with yourself. If your wallet is having trouble closing then you, my friend have entered the danger zone. Instead, use Stocard. This app has been a huge saver, not only for me but for my mom who’s wallet could never close with the million of rewards cards she held.
If that sentence above sounds like you at all, this is the app for you and it is free so all you have to do is install (Android and Apple Store) and upload all of your rewards cards. So that next time you are in line at your fave store, you just have to click the app and card and the store will scan it just like the physical card. Easy!
Carry Only What You Need
The title above says it all, carry only what you need. I am talking about the necessary things that you need such as bank cards (if your classy and don’t use the app version on your phone), health cards, benefit cards, car licence or public transit card. It is the cards that you use the most and that is the most important to always have around. Mine are the ones, I mentioned, it is the only cards that I personally need.
