Good Morning/ Good Night DIY Printable

digital art printable

Above my bed was not reflecting the older me at all. There were three canvas art style prints that I bought at Dollarama for $3.00. I used to like the design, however, with the new plan for the room, I couldn’t have that up anymore. It was time for a change and I have a few ideas up my sleeve for above my bed. I knew that I needed some kind of wording, something eye catching yet inspirational or, at least, positive to look at.

At first, I thought about using cardboard cut outs of letters to make the words pop out but with the frame I wanted to use, it would not work out. Floating frames have been my new obsession and I knew I had to have it in my room. The thing about it is that it needs to have thin papers or pictures nothing too thick or it won’t close. So I had to think of another idea.

Here is the before.
In the plan for my room, I was going to buy a gold XOXO printable but changed my mind when I came up with my very own printable using Canva and Microsoft Word.
Now, I still wanted it to pop and stand out so paint was my go to.
This was my first time using FolkArt paint and it didn’t cost a lot. I bought their silver paint from Micheals Craft Store.
Use a thin brush and paint on top of the first letters.
Allow it to dry.
Once dry, it is time to put it into the frame.
I am using 8 x 11 paper. You can use any size that you feel. There were some smudges from the tape off the packaging but the use of a glass cleaner does the trick.
With the abstract art, I bought from Etsy ties everything together. I feel in love with the abstract art as well as the colors it had. Very beautiful and very affordable. No shipping only printing!
I can’t stop staring at my new section!
