With three kids sharing a bedroom, I need a toys solution. I know first hand that the toys will not make it where it is supposed to be. It goes everywhere on the floor and under the bed, on the sides of the bed. It can be a nightmare. If your kids are anything similar to my siblings then they don’t necessarily like to clean their bedroom.
Then you go through the routine of the blaming game, angry eyebrows and arm crossing with the occasional stomping of the foot. I have seen it all, and this only occurs because they prefer to spend their time on the computer or playing video games or watching TV. Who doesn’t want to spend their time doing that!
You can tell your kids to simply clean after themselves when they are done playing and then they won’t have to clean up the hurricane of the toy, you can say it to them until you are deep blue in the face but they won’t hear you.
It will just go in one ear and out the other because their little hearts desire that TV show or computer game or video game that you had they pause… I would know because that was me once upon a time ago. Time for a kids toys solution.
So my solution was this.

Great idea! My kid has a tiny room, so we use a sweater box under his bed for Legos.
