With all the craziness going around, back to school shopping took a huge delay. Our car had left us stranded on our shopping day and then when we did get the car rolling, the stores were already closed. Did back to school shopping happen before the first day of school? The only place we could find open on Labor day was Shopper’s Drug Mart so we headed there and picked up a few things. The rest would have to wait or they would have to use old ones.
When I did go shopping, it so happened that Value Village had a 50% off  kids clothing sale for club members. This defiantly made me feel better about the shopping disaster. I scored some great tops for my siblings and a little bit for my son. Here is what I bought for my son.
I snatched a great pair of  grey pants from Joe Fresh that cost me only $2.49. I found two great dress shirts. The first one is a blue dress shirt that cost me $3.99 and the other is a Calvin Klein Jeans purple shift that was priced at $5.49. For t-shirts the red striped shirt cost me $1.99, Oshkosh ‘Game on’ shirt that cost $3.99 and a super cute dino tee from Children’s place that only cost $4.49.
I have learned my lesson this year for back to school shopping but loved that I got some savings on another day. What matters is that my little man and family got some new clothing at a reasonable price. Happy son, happy mom and a happy wallet.
