Want to know how to make DIY cardboard drawer dividers? There are many different ways that you can divide your clothing in your dresser. Cardboard dresser drawer dividers are a great tool to use to keep drawers organized. It keeps your clothing in line and not tumbling over in your drawer.
We have all seen it, the clothes scattered and sliding around or floppy over to the next pile of clothes. I found a way to make one without it costing you the amount that you see in stores. My version is also great because my main item for this project is something I already have in my home and yours too.
Here is how I made my diy cardboard drawer dividers:
This is a very simple project. So simple that you’re going to think to yourself ‘why didn’t I think about this?‘. You are first going to need something cardboard, (I’m using parts of a box). In fact, you can use one of those Amazon boxes that you have laying around.
Secondly, you need to measure the length and height of your dresser drawer and cut to your correct measurements.
Next Steps
Next, use Self Adhesive paper or adhesive wallpaper of any design you like in the store. I bought mine from Dollarama for $2.00 and using what is left of the roll for this project. You can also get some from Amazon as well.
Use your cut out as a divider to measure the amount of paper you will need. You can do this by folding the paper over the cut-out divider.
You are almost done!
Thirdly, what you need to do next is place one side of the divider on the sticky side. Leave space around the edges.
Fold over the flap and smooth the air bubbles. Repeat for the top part of the divider.
Now you are ready to fold over the last piece. Smooth over any air bubbles.
