Some exciting news! It was fantastic to get an email from Jennifer over at Decorating Delirium. She invited me to be apart of this very cool blog tour. I of course had to say yes! This is a great way for you to get to know more about me and also get to know one of my favourite bloggers right now.
First, let me answer the same questions that all the other bloggers have answered and then you get to see these bloggers that I am absolutely loving right now. You can check out Jennifer’s answers to these questions on her site here. I will also be sharing more about her as well but before I do, are you ready to hear my answers?
My Questions:
Question #1- What am I working on right now?
Right now I am getting myself ready for back to school time so I am working on getting together my Value Village finds post. I did some shopping over the weekend and we got some back to school outfits and things that I need to take pictures up and put together for my post as well as write my post to go along with it.
I also created a to-do list that I need to get done for today. I have cleaning to do, laundry to sort/ clean and organizing because I have re-organizing for back to school tomorrow. There is a lot to get down around the house to make it ready for back to school ready like making sure my sibling’s bag is packed, lunches are made and the room is spotless (or close to it)
Question #2- Why do I write/create what I do?
I always love creating, writing and more so doing this seems to just fit me. I honestly wish I started years ago since sharing things with my family and friends of the latest Shanice idea or creation or product or advice was always something I did normally but now I get to do this on a grander scale. It brings me such joy to create something or bring an idea to life or share a little about my life so hearing that my readers love something that I have shared brings makes my heart warm and fuels me to continue being me and creating things.
Question #3- How does my work differ from others in its genre?
I am a very unique person and so is my blog. I don’t only talk about organizing something or just crafts. I like to give a variety of things from products I love, wedding inspiration and advice to adventure that are going on with me such as learning to drive or potty training my son. You get to know a lot about me from the things I create and share. I love finding a way to be more green and trying to live a more natural but affordable way of life as well as trying to keep things and my life as organized as possible so you can see that and more through each post I publish.
Question #4- How does your writing/creating process work?
My creative process works in two ways. First, I have a huge list of ideas to organize something, to create, to bake, to review and to advise in wedding décor. I select the ones I want to tackle for the week and start creating, take pictures of my process and when done editing the photos I start to write after adding them to my post. Writing I very easy when it is coming from the heart, through your fingers and onto the post.
The second way is my small notebook where I sketch ideas and things I want to build or create. Based on it I will buy or gather supplies and get creating. After that it is all the usual stuff like how I mentioned in the paragraph before, photos and writing then published to you the next day or the same day.
Now for the blogs I love:
#1
Check out her low-cost
laundry room transformation. I love all the little touches that bring this laundry room all together like the lost sock section and wallpaper. Pretty much everything makes this space wonderful!
I also enjoy this growth chart that she created. I love that she went with the ruler idea and of course, the stain of the wood is perfect.

When I saw this I was so excited to try this recipe out. Who doesn’t love Dorito chips, now how about a healthy version of it but on popcorn? You can get it in a whole new an awesome way. Love it!
I also like this
Creamy Homemade Shrimp Alfedo recipe she has. I love that she is into healthy organic cooking and recipes. I literately want to bookmark every recipe she has on her blog.
