2018 it is time to say goodbye! Cheers to that! Are you ready for a new year? The year seriously has gone fast but let’s face it, I say that every year. I bet you do too. It is just something we all say every year to signify how time seemed to be going at warp speed. As my little tradition at City of Creative Dreams, I would like to say goodbye with a recap of some of my favourite posts and experiences that happened to me this year.
Favourite Post
My favourite post in 2018 is my bedroom makeover… again. Since my son is going, I had to change our shared bedroom up to handle both of us. I think I did a great job with the amount of space I have to work with. As much as I wish I could break down walls, I can’t so I got to work with what I have. In return, I had to get creative with it. Check it out here.
Scariest Moment
I have to say it was when I removed guests entries from my site. So scary! Why? I was so consumed with making ever guest blogger happy and scheduling their times and designing their cover images and placing them on my social media that I forgot about myself. Oh yes, I put myself in the back burner so removing it got me back to myself and my voice.
Most Exciting Experience
When I got to visit Toronto’s Muji flagship store. I was invited to the pre-opening of the store on Dundas street and was a spoiled guest for the night. Everyone was so kind, we have food from the Drake and got freebie goodies. I brought my best friend with me and we had a grand old time. You can find out more here.
Best Natural Beauty
I have to say my top natural skin care product would have to be… hands down… the Baobab oil I use on my face. I can’t live without it and I am 90% sure I can’t pronounce it correctly but I love it. It’s the best purchase by far for natural products and it is not a bad price either.
Final Thoughts
Bye, Bye 2018. I am on to another journey of a new year hopefully filled with bigger and better things. I hope you join me with wedding ideas, organizing ideas and natural living. I want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has been there with me this year. I look forward to sharing more with you this year.
