Back to school is fast approaching and what wouldn’t be nicer than a Back to School Post Card from a loved one, from a friend, from you. I don’t know about you, but I am mostly excited for the shopping part. (Funny since I am not a huge fan of shopping lol)
But I love shopping in an organized matter so that is why I created my Back to School Printable you can check that out here. I just finished creating these postcards and thought maybe you would want to join in this new tradition I am going to start in my family.
I got this idea from my mom. My mom originally sent me a post card (we live in the same place lol) when I was pregnant with my son. I was very stressed, anxious, a little bit depressed, had very low self-esteem and on top of that had to deal with the morning sickness. One day, the mail came and the postcard came.
It was a picture of me and her on the cover and a touching message to basically remind me to hang in there and that she will always be there for me. It melted my heart and I still have that postcard up to remind me that I have someone there for me. I mean she could have told me in person, sent me a text or email, but she took the time to do this just for me and I forever feel grateful for it.
So my thoughts… I am going to do this for my son when he starts school. Every year I will send him a postcard (It would make him feel special because how often do kiddos get mail right?) It will also be our special thing, our special tradition.
We don’t celebrate many things, but we can always celebrate a new school year with words from the heart and encouragements. Side note: I will never stop this tradition until his last and absolutely last graduation! You can never be too old to get love in a postcard.
Until my son starts school (He is 20 months now so it will be a while) I shall start this idea or tradition with my younger siblings. If you want to send your kiddies a postcard this year. Check out these Back to School Postcards I’ve created.
Oh these are so nice and a great family tradition!

Thank you so much Robin. Have a great weekend!
What a sweet idea! I'm sure kiddos would love a nice little note from friends a family who don't live close by. Thanks for linking up to Gingerly Made!
I agree 🙂 Thank you for stopping by and commenting!
