If you are new here, note I don’t typically talk about anime. In fact, I am still new to the world of anime so please forgive me if I say anything wrong lol.

It was such a hit that I couldn’t resist helping my fiance come up with groomsmen proposal gifts for him. 1 – Choose your groomsmen.

This is the first step because you got to know who you are giving your gifts to. In many cases, your number is based on how many the bride chooses for her side to create balance in your wedding party but of course, there are really no rules.

These days you can have 1-6 groomsmen and even go as big as 12 or more. However, remember that the more you have, the more time needed to get them down the aisle and more expense for flowers and attire if you are planning to pay for it.

Also, remember to choose carefully. It is a big moment for you to choose groomsmen that you can rely on.

2 – Choose a theme.

For our gifts, we chose the anime One Piece. My fiance and his friends love it and it’s one of the things apart from video games that they can talk about for hours. So it only made sense to choose that as a theme. Of course, this is just what we decided to go with. Choose one theme that you and your friends all enjoy.

3 – Best Anime Gifts for Him

What I did next used the anime theme as my guide to finding gifts on Amazon. Since we weren’t fully sure what gifts to get in particular, it worked in our favour because we had a blank canvas to work with. As we scrolled we knew that we wanted something that would last long and that his groomsmen could use.

Here is what we ended up going with:

4 – Choose a Gift bag or Gift box

Unlike my bridesmaid boxes, we went with a gold gift bag instead. The reason was that I couldn’t find a set of gift boxes that were a reasonable price and with the amount that we wanted, so we got large gold gift bags from the dollar store. Although a medium size would have been better, we made it work.

Now even though we got this gift bag at a way more affordable price does mean that I wouldn’t add detail to spruce it up. I knew that I wanted to make the gift bag stand out so I decided to write each of the groomsmen’s names on the front side of the bags in Japanese. I did the same for their card too.

Here is what I did:

Step 1: I searched their names on how to spell it in Japanese.

Then Step 2: Pasted it on a word doc and increased the size to 90 then printed it out.

Step 3: I used an Exacto knife to cut out the letters.

Lastly, Step 4: I then used the cut-out as a stencil on the gift bag and coloured the inside with a thin black Sharpie.

5 – A Groomsman Proposal Card

Lastly, once you put your groomsmen’s gifts together you will need a card. It’s a great way to ask for them to be part of your big day while taking a moment to say a few words. For us, I designed these groomsmen cards using Canva and printed it off on Gloss Printable Greeting Cards.
