Grooms and suits today is your day. When we think about it, we always dive deep in the wedding dress however what about the groom. After all, he is the one who steps out first to walk down the aisle so he is going to need to look his best for the bride. Today we are going to be talking about 4 suit rules for grooms.
Rule 1: Match the Theme
If you have decided on a wedding theme, your attire must match the theme of it. It should be an obvious rule however it can sometimes to missed due to miscommunications on expectations. Your goal is to stand out in a way that goes with your overall vision of the wedding.
Rule 2: Coordinate
This is your first appearance as a married couple so you should make sure that you two are on the same page with attire. Now I know the groom is not supposed to see the wedding dress until the day of however she can tell you if your attire matches. Believe me, she will be happy to do do. So ask and get an option. Don’t forget about the groomsmen. Your suit should stand out from the rest but still show that sense of continuity with accessories.
Rule 3: Fit Perfectly
It is important that you make sure the suit matches your body type and that it is body pleasing for you. Black and darker colours are known to make you look slimmer while lighter colours do the exact opposite. So be sure that the colour choice works for your body types.
Rule 4: Movement Test
This one is a must before buying any suit. You are going to give your suit a test by moving in it. Yes, I am serious. Why? Because if you are not comfortable moving in it now then you will not be when it is your wedding day. Try to bend, sit, dance and ultimately move comfortably in your suit without tension or uncomfortableness.
Final Thoughts
If you want to be comfortable on your wedding day then these rules will be handy. Believe me when I say that it really makes a difference once you are comfortable in what you are wearing. Don’t forget to get the bride stamp of approval on the suit as well as the groomsmen for smooth running wedding attire.
