Wide and Fresh
For comfort, you can’t beat a pair of wide-leg pants. They give your legs cool ventilation while providing a fresh silhouette to complete your outfit. Wide-leg pants are versatile and go with any kind of outfit from dressy to super casual. Wide-leg pants come in styles ranging from jeans to soft, flowy palazzo pants. They elongate the body and have a slimming effect. Many wide-leg pants have an elastic waistband, which you can cover up with a longer top or a tied belt.
You can go with a bold striped pattern with a simple top, or a tailored look with soft but classic fabrics. Pair wide-leg pants with a long top for a casual look. It’s also trendy to wear a cropped top with wide-leg pants: if you do this, be sure to add accessories like a statement necklace or a scarf to balance the top.

Leggings are on-trend, especially in fabrics like leather and metallics. Their popularity means that women of all body types can feel comfortable wearing them out and about. One of our favorite pieces is the long and slouchy sweater. In a variety of soft, warm yarns, these sweaters feel like being wrapped up in a blanket. It takes a little bit of strategy to style a slouchy sweater so you don’t look too sloppy – it’s better to stay away from wide-leg pants and long skirts. Slouchy sweaters look especially good with leggings and jeans.
There are so many styles of loose sweaters, it would be easy to create a variety of outfits with sweaters you already have in your closet. Combine a luxe fabric like cashmere with simple leggings to show off your sweater. Wear a long sweater with a tied belt to draw your waist in and instantly dress up the look. Details like fringe bring visual interest to your sweater.
