DIY Autumn Leaf Coasters

DIY Autumn Leaf Coasters | City of Creative Dreams

Autumn is here! Orange leaves will be falling down in no time. The mornings is getting chilly and soon I will have to pack up my shorts… at least for outside. Last week I shared with you how I brought the outside in for autumn. I recently created some leaf coasters and today I am going to show you how I made it.

I bought these Celebrate It Harvest Garland from Micheals for $11.99. There was something about the wood that I loved and the design of the leaf veins.

For this project, I needed the garland, Krylon Champagne Spray Paint, Mod Podge and foam brush.
First thing first, I took off the twine that was on it since I don’t need it for garland.
After I sprayed the wooden leaves and let it dry, it is time to bring out the Mod Podge. I used the foam brush and put a light coat on it then let it dry.
Now I have very stylish leaf coasters. I am in love with the light champagne colour.
